Typography Poster - Podcast
The Huberman Lab podcast is a technical, professional, and informational health & fitness podcast that focuses on how mental and physical health are impacted by every aspect of life, with an emphasis on neuroscience. This podcast is quite serious compared to most podcasts and stresses credibility and scientific accuracy. In order to assimilate this, I aimed to reflect the technical and professional aspects of the podcast in the poster design.
Before
After
While revising the final version of this poster, I strived to make it less linear and also give it more character. The original version felt too rigid and crammed in the frame. To combat this, I created a significantly more organic composition with free flowing shapes, more resemblant of fumes that could arise from a test tube. This allowed for a centrally focused composition, highlighting the title of the podcast. The rest of the poster now flows out of the center. I also added bold text to allow for more differentiation between information topics.
